With the support of his wife and three children, Mr. Walker has
developed a career in public service for more than 20 years. He has held
management positions with the Sacramento County Airport System,
Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), the Ft. Lauderdale
International Airport (FLL) and the Philadelphia International Airport
(PHL). He is actively involved with the public administration industry
and his community, serving on numerous boards and committees including
ACI-NA’s Public Safety and Security committee.
Mr. Walker holds a
Masters of Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Airport Management from Jacksonville
University in Jacksonville, FL. He is an Accredited Member in the
American Association of Airport Executives (A.A.A.E.), a certified
International Airport Professional with the Airports Council
International- North America (ACI-NA), and is an instrument-rated
private pilot with over 2500 PIC hours logged.
Currently, Mr. Walker
serves as the Assistant City Manager for the city of Brownsville. He is
responsible for supporting five city departments including Fire, Police,
Courts, Finance, and Airport. Additionally, he researches and
formulates long range goals for the organization, and develops policy
and position papers for city management and elected officials
