Yes, city of Brownsville parks and trails are OPEN.  However, in an effort to support the safety and well-being of our community, all City of Brownsville public pools, playgrounds, fitness installations, pavilions, gyms, rental facilities, public amenities and facilities are closed until further notice.  

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we take these measures to prevent the community spread of COVID-19.  Stay safe, stay healthy. 

Currently ONLY public parks, hike and bike trails are open.
If you decide to visit a park or trail, please abide Second Amended Emergency Order guidelines.  Protect yourself and others. Make sure you're wearing a face mask (face covering) and always practice social distancing.  Maintain distance--Stay 6 feet away from other people.   Avoid mass gathering. No crowds, no groups. 

COB PARD staff will be working to help maintain the standard upkeep, maintenance, stewardship of site facilities.

About this Park

Located in northern Brownsville, tis 10-15 acre park is surrounded by elementary school, city water facility compound, and highway 511.  The main features of this park are kickball and rental activities associated with Monica's House.

This park provides a breath of fresh greenery and open space alongside the local urban landscape.
