The City of Brownsville Public Health Department in partnership with the Cameron County Department of Health & Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention invite the community to attend Zika Action Day, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2019, at the 77 Flea Market 5955 N. Expressway, Brownsville, Texas.
Zika Action Day will include a tire collection (up to four tires per person), the distribution of Zika Prevention Kits, demonstrations on how to prevent Zika, such as wearing EPA-registered insect repellent and long-sleeved shirts and pants, installing or repairing window screens, removing or treating standing water, and using condoms to reduce sexual transmission.
