Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee Meeting

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee was created by Ordinance #91-1232, amending Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances by adding a new Section 24-15. The committee makes recommendations with reference to park management and operations and shall provide guidance and advice regarding improvement and maintenance of the City's parks.
Board Mission
"The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board shall permanently preserve, protect, maintain, improve, and enhance its natural resources, parkland, and recreational opportunities for all current and future generations."
