Manager & Food Handlers Certification
City of Brownsville Public Health Department requires that all certified Food Managers obtain a photo ID, of which is valid for 3 years. Said card has a fee of $50.00 per person.
Please remember to bring your Food Manager Certificate, a valid photo ID and the processing fee (debit/credit card, cash and/or check).
To obtain a Food Manager ID please stop by our office during the following hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The City of Brownsville Health Department has updated the Food Handlers and Food Managers Certification Training agencies. Ordinance No. 2008-1367-A §229.163. The Health Department is accepting Food Handlers Certification and Managers Certifications from the following agencies.
