In an effort to support the safety and well-being of our community, all City of Brownsville parks, pools, playgrounds, fitness installations, pavilions, gyms, rental facilities, public amenities and facilities are closed until further notice.

Currently ONLY hike and bike trails are open.

If you decide to visit a trail, please abide Second Amended Emergency Order guidelines.  Protect yourself and others. Make sure you’re wearing a face mask (face covering) and always practice social distancing.  Maintain distance--Stay 6 feet away from other people.   Avoid mass gathering. No crowds, no groups. 

COB PARD staff will be working to help maintain the standard upkeep, maintenance, stewardship of site facilities.

Mayor Trey Mendez released the Eighth amendment to the Declaration of Local Disaster for Public Health Emergency, which includes new guidelines to go in effect immediately due to the alarming increase of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. This includes a Stay-at-Home Curfew for Brownsville.

Brownsville Golf Center has been working diligently to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and align the operations of the golf course with the recommendations of the public health orders that have been issued. We are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of both the public and our staff.

Eighteen-Hole Regulation Course

The Brownsville Golf Center is an 18 hole regulation golf course. We are open 362 days out of the year. We provide our patrons with a friendly, courteous, and experienced staff.


We keep the golf course well manicured, and our facilities clean and organized. We stock a variety of cold import and domestic beer, and various assortments of soft drinks. Our snack bar is known for our delicious quarter pound jumbo hot dogs, and we also carry an assortment of candies, chips, and Danish.


The Pro-Shop is stocked with items you may need for your golf round such as:

  • Gloves
  • Golf Balls
  • Shirts
  • Sunglasses
  • Tees
  • Other Counter Items

The Brownsville Golf Center strives to provide the best possible golfing experience in the Rio Grande Valley.
