The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department's outdoor swimming pools:  Sams Pool and Gonzalez Pool are open to the public during the summer months. 

Sams Pool will be open June 9th - August 19th 

Gonzalez Pool will be open June 9th - August 19th.

**Oliveira Pool will NOT open this summer.  It is closed for repairs.  Read more about it here.

Pool Fees 2017
The Parks and Recreation Department operates 2 public pool facilities, 2 splash pads, all available for rent. We staff 20 lifeguards for public swim, lessons, and special events; 20 swim instructors for our Learn-to-Swim Program; basket attendants to help with admission and keeping the pool areas clean, and 4 pool technicians to ensure safe swimming conditions.

Swimming Entrance Fees 

The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer its patrons affordable swimming:
  • $2 General Admission  (13+ years of age)
  • $1 Child Admission  (12 years of age and under)
  • $1 Senior Admission  (55+ years of age)
