Friday, October 19th, 2018--Come relax on the
lawn at Dean Porter Park with your friends and family while we screen a Halloween movie at the Pumpkin Patch . The Pumpkin Patch has become a holiday tradition, and the outdoor movie is always rated PG.
It will be an especially busy night at Dean Porter Park because several events will be going on at the same time. Scarecrow Trail, Scarecrow Contest and Halloween Costume contest. There will be something for everyone!
Popcorn will be available while supplies last. Snacks and other treats will be available for purchase.
Movie showtime: 7 p.m. or sundown.
There will be a short intermission at the screening to announce winners of the Scarecrow Contest.
Contact Yoli Perez Ayala at Ringgold Civic Pavilion for more information: 956-547-6850
This is where we'd post a poster or trailer of the film, but it is currently: TBD ;)
Please stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, add this event to your calendar.
Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, your friends, family and snacks. Everyone is welcome. Pets are welcome too! Please make sure Fido is on a leash, and should your little friend make a mess, please pick up after him/her.
You can dress up for the event too. Get into the Halloween spirit and don your costumes.
If your are feeling competitive, you may also want to participate in the Cosplay contest event at Ringgold Civic Pavilion.
Admission to the patch and the movie are FREE.
Pumpkins of all sizes will be available for sale, bring cash if you plan on buying.
