32-Mile Ride | September 9, 2018 @ 8 AM | $30 Registration Fee

This year marks 17 years since the terrorist attacks that took place September 11, 2001. In honor and remembrance of our nation’s bravest, the Brownsville Fire Department, in partnership with the Los Fresnos Fire Department, and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 970, invites the community to attend the 9/11 Memorial Ride, to be held at 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Brownsville Fire Department Station 8, 1855 Captain Donald Foust Road in Brownsville, TX.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the 9/11 Memorial Ride will begin at 6:45 a.m. Participants must  present their registration form, signed waiver and $30 registration fee. Participants may also register prior to the event online. Proceeds will  benefit the Brownsville Fire Department Toy Drive Christmas Fund.



Authorization code is required to register online. 
You will receive the Authorization code when you pay your registration fee.

  • Ride Bib (Number)

All riders MUST HAVE a HELMET AND RIDE BIB (NUMBER) to participate in the 9-11 Memorial Ride 2018.

PARKING

Parking will be available in the field next to the fire station, off of Hwy 511 & on Foust Road and on E. 14th Street

We will have Brownsville Fire Explorers and Brownsville Police Department directing parking.

**NO PARKING INSIDE THE FIRE STATION PARKING LOT**

Accommodations are not provided.

START TIME

  • The 9/11 Memorial Ceremony begins at 7:45 a.m. in front of Brownsville Fire Department Station #8, featuring a performance by the Brownsville Firefighters Pipes & Drums. 
  • The 32-mile 9/11 Memorial Ride begins at 8 a.m. at Brownsville Fire Department Station 8 with two rest stops.
