The City of Brownsville Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management are set to participate in the U.S. Coast Guard’s Area Maritime Security Training and Exercise Program, to be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Keppel AmFELS, 20000 TX-48 in Brownsville.
The exercise will bring together federal, state, and local law enforcement and emergency management partner agencies in addition to regulated oil, natural gas, and chemical facilities to test the South Texas Area Maritime Security Plan and assess the response to security incidents.
